Greying of hair before you reach the age of 30 can be disturbing as hair sums up your personality. Early greying of hair can be delayed by altering existing life style and eating pattern. As we know that prevention is better than cure, therefore it is the time when you need to follow these simple ways to prevent and stop early greying of hair. So, here we go.
1. Avoid stress
Stress is proved to have negative impact on health. It also causes your hair to look dull and white before age. So, de-stress yourself by engaging in yoga, exercise, meditation and activities or work that makes you happier. Relax more and be happy!
2. Massage scalp
Blood needs to be circulated properly so that it can reach each and every part of body. To make sure, your scalp is getting enough blood, start exercise and massaging your scalp regularly 5-10 minutes a day. You can use lukewarm coconut oil or almond oil which also nourishes the hair. It also gives your hair a shinier look.
3. Get proper sleep
Whether you believe it or not! But, yes irregular sleeping pattern is associated with premature greying of hair. When you get proper sleep, your stress levels are diminished, body heals completely and you are active and rejuvenated. An adult should sleep for at least 7-8 hours daily. Grip a pillow and have a cosy sleep.
4. Healthy diet
Follow healthy and balanced diet for a sound mind and body, obviously for youthful appearance of hair. Try to include foods containing proteins,biotin, copper such as walnuts, almonds, pumpkin seeds and vitamin B12 such as eggs, fish, cheese in your diet. Keep yourself hydrated as water transports essential nutrients to every part including your hair.
5. Avoid harmful chemicals
Avoid using harsh shampoos, gels, dyes or any hair product which contains chlorine, ammonia and other harmful chemicals which depletes natural nourishment of hair. Instead, go for organic products.
6. Stop smoking
Who has been unaware of the fact that smoking is one of the prevalent factor for oral cancer. But. do you know that, it is also responsible for baldness and early greying of hair. Throw away small dangerous stick right now, if you are holding in your hand.
7. Avoid exposure to heat
Too much exposure to high heat can make your hair lifeless and grey with time. Because heat takes away essential moisture from hair leaving it dull and unnourished. So, don’t expose your hair regularly to heat emitting dryers, blowers and hot showers. Always cover your hair with something when you are in direct contact with fierce sunlight.
