6 Bollywood Movies That Salman Khan Rejected – Regrets Guaranteed!

192

Our favorite bhaijaan’s career has been a very carefully concocted montage of movies that have all had somewhat of a common thread tying them together. Considering that, we can make sense out of some of the movies that Salman Khan rejected. But some of these rejections make no sense at all.

1. Baazigar

Salman Khan rejected this movie, which fell into Shahrukh’s lap and then went on to make him a superstar. He probably didn’t want to tarnish his good boy image back then by playing a negative character. Such cowardice. Much disappoint. Very unwow.

2. Josh

Guess why Salman Khan turned down the role of Max Dias in this movie. Because from where we see it, he’s the perfect actor to play this loud-mouthed, brash goon, whose whole life revolved around gang wars and eve-teasing one poor, hapless female. But it’s probably because he didn’t want to play brother to his then-girlfriend Aishwarya Rai. Because it would require him to have some level of skills in acting.

3. Kal Ho Naa Ho

Another movie he turned down, because he didn’t want to play the supporting role of Sameer to Shahrukh’s lead role. Coz ego. And manliness. And Salman no play second fiddle.

4. Chak De! India

It makes perfect sense that Salman turned down the role of Indian Women’s World Hockey Team coach Kabir Khan. It would have required for him to encourage and motivate a bunch of average-looking young girls to win the Women’s Hockey World Cup. There is zero scope for inserting a misogynistic song or an item number in the mix.
